ReTargeting or Remarketing and How Does it Work?

Re-targeting is one of the form of search re targeting which is used by online marketers that target an audience based on the previous searches they conduct on other websites. the vast majority of people are just not going to convert the first time they visit your site.

That’s why re-targeting is very important part of any online strategy because it allows you to position targeted ads in front of an audience that had already visited your website.

Retargeting converts window-shoppers into buyers, 95% visitors returned without any purchase and re-targeting help to convert those visitors to prospective lead by displaying ads as per their behaviour on your website.

How does Re-targeting work?

Retargeting is a cookie-based technology that uses simple Java script code to anonymously ‘follow’ your audience all over the Web. Once a visitor enters your website and go through it, a cookie is set in their browser and you can use this information to “re-target” them with ads based on their interactions.

We used two types of Retargeting or Remarketing-

1- Pixel Based Re-targeting
2- List Based Re-targeting
